The Features of Kindergarten
The child at play learns by doing. Therefore we must encourage them to play freely using the natural materials in the kindergarten room and gardens and encourage them to create imaginative scenes imitating the world and situations they see. The Kibou Kindergarten provides a secure environment in which children can develop their creative and imaginative skills. The specially designed play area is intended to promote physical/kinesthetic and interactive skills of kids. Children enjoy psycho-motor activities including art and craft, DIY activities, gardening and cooking and gain through these activities energy and enthusiasm for simple tasks and get accustomed to healthy routines of the daily life. In kindergarten a variety of activities with music, dancing, storytelling, rhymes, games and celebration of special occasions all organized under the guidance of our skillful teachers give kids a blooming time, promoting their desire to learn and gently preparing them for Primary School. The whole purpose of our tailor-made curriculum inspired by, and in cooperation with, the highly valued Japanese preschool system is to make each child (and the parents) aware that he or she would be ‘the only flower in the world’ and we are here ‘to make that flower bloom’.
